Halle Bailey‘s boyfriend, DDG, is very open about his feelings in a new song. The 25-year-old rapper and YouTuber, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., is not afraid to say that he is insecure.

However, his honesty has some fans saying that he might be a lot to handle for Bailey, 23, who is rising in Hollywood. A few music observers say that the new track called “Famous” might be a slight diss towards The Little Mermaid star.

It seems Halle Bailey’s performance in the movie is a problem for him. Moreover, while promoting the project, the Grown-ish actress has appeared very close to her co-star, Jonah Hauer-King.

DDG’s “Famous” lyrics appear to target Halle Bailey

DDG raps: “Filmin’ a movie now you kissing dudes / You know I love you a lot / I don’t give a f— if that s— for promo / I don’t wanna see this s— no more.”

He continues: “Why is y’all holdin’ hands in the photo? / You know I’m insecure, that’s a no-no.” The track makes it clear that DDG is struggling with his girlfriend’s fame.

Wait, there is more fury and vitriol. DDG shares: “I been so insecure that I be thinkin’ you really be fuckin’ niggas you in movies with. But on the internet, I just be coolin’ it, but in my head, a nigga really losin’ it. Gotta be payin’ good ’cause you keep doin’ it, I might just tweet somethin’ just to ruin it. I got a platform, I’m abusin’ it.”

He goes deeper by revealing: “Fall in love, I hate that s— / Knockin’ me off my grind, I can’t f— with relationships / I ain’t even got enough time in a day for me to chase a bitch / I don’t even ask for much, I ask you to do the basic s— / Hardest thing I did was fall in love with a famous bitch.”

The hip-hop talent holds nothing back by pointing out: “It’s a couple things about your job I wanna know (I do)/When you shoot your movie, do these niggas turn you on? (On)/When you leave the set, do y’all still text each other phone? (Phone). Just because they filmin’ it, it don’t mean that it ain’t wrong.”

Fans defend Bailey after song debuts

While representatives for the two entertainers are not commenting on the story, supporters of the actress are not holding back.

They have taken to social media to urge the rapper to work hard on himself and not hold back the woman he claims to love.

Hailey Bailey and DDG made their relationship official in early 2022. They have appeared at several red-carpet events together.

However, the two celebrities insist that the people, who are judging them, do not really know what is going on in their romance.
