Meghan Markle is ready to enter the arena again, and no one can stand in her way in the new year.
Almost five years after exiting the Royal Family lifestyle, Prince Harry and his wife, The Duchess of Sussex, are still looking for a viable business model.
Meghan Markle eyeing big comeback
The two famous faces decided to charter different business paths in 2024, and Markle plans to take things to new heights in 2025.
Contrary to critics’ claims, the former actress still has some good cards, and turning things around is possible.
Markle’s cooking show on Netflix and lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard (ARO) are reportedly ready to take the road.
After many obstacles, Markle has a clear plan to surprise everyone. The two big projects will be out around the same time. The show will help the brand and vice versa.
Prince Harry’s wife sees herself as an underdog and wants to use this to her advantage. One Markle insider told Page Six: “As far as Meghan being quiet, she’s been in the background working on her entrepreneurial efforts. Both the Netflix project and her brand will come out within the same timeline in the New Year.”
The source added, “It’s going to be a good year for Meghan specifically. She’s spent the majority of the year doing work behind the scenes to launch a project in the first few months of 2025.”
Prince Harry’s wife is losing key allies
Markle wants to get all of her moves right in 2025 because she is running out of options. The situation with King Charles III is getting worse, and a return to England with her spouse is out of the question.
Moreover, people in the entertainment industry are losing patience with her and no longer answering her calls. Markle will have to make it big on her own.
Prince Harry focuses on his charity work, which makes him feel closer to his true self. The Duke of Sussex also hopes to make peace with his father.
According to Tom Sykes, the European editor of The Daily Beast, there are “rumors that some power players in Hollywood who were formerly enamored of the couple will no longer take Meghan’s calls personally.”
Critics doubt she can turn things around
NewsNation’s entertainment correspondent and editor Paula Froelich also told The Times: “This is what happens when you haven’t actually made money — you fall [down] the totem pole of importance. People in LA roll their eyes at them.”
Markle thinks now is the time to right the ship. However, critics say she has done this before, which has not worked. They say she was supposed to dominate 2024 and has not done so; why would 2025 be any different?
Markle will finally have to put some of her cards on the table in a few months.
