Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, have done a lot of damage to their relationship with the Royal Family in the past four years.

Prince Harry is not in touch with King Charles and Prince William

The Duke of Sussex is no longer in touch with his father, King Charles III, and brother Prince William. The same goes for sister-in-law Kate Middleton.

Prince Harry felt the weight of his choices as the Monarch and Princess Kate dealt with serious health issues.

He wanted to be present for his family, but it was not possible because of the broken trust between them. In recent months, the father of two has changed some of his old ways and stopped talking about his family.

Harry wants peace with Royal Family

Observers say it was a straightforward way to signal that the war is over and now is a time for peace. However, King Charles has refused and made it known that he is done with his son’s theatrics.

The Prince of Wales, who previously suggested that his brother would not be present at his coronation, is adopting a different posture.

Future King softens stance on his brother

While he is not singing kumbaya, Prince William has been softening his behavior when it comes to his younger brother. After not mentioning Prince Harry’s name in public for years, he now talks freely about precious moments that they share as children.

Of course, the stories are always in the past, but there is a slight change in attitude for Prince William. King Charles stopped mentioning Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as he did in his Christmas speech.

The very private future King of England recently revealed one of his favorite childhood memories with his late mother, Princess Diana. In the story he told, Prince Harry was featured prominently.

Prince of Wales remembers moments with Harry and Princess Diana

During an appearance on the Apple Fitness + podcast Time to Walk, the 42-year-old father of three stated: “When I was younger, Harry and I, we were at boarding school. And my mother used to play all sorts of songs to kind of while away the anxiety of going back to school.”

He added: “And one of the songs I massively remember and has stuck with me all this time, and I still, to this day, still quite enjoy secretly, is Tina Turner‘s “The Best” because sitting in the backseat, singing away, it felt like a real family moment. And my mother, she’d be driving along, singing at the top of her voice. And we’d even get the policeman in the car; he’d be occasionally singing along, as well.”

Prince William concluded: “You’d be singing and listening to the music right the way out into the gates of school when they dropped you off. And, and that’s when reality kind of sunk in that you really were going back to school because before that, you’re lost in songs.”

The message behind William’s words

To this day, this song brings Prince William back to these sweet old memories. For a private person, the royal revealed quite a bit in the statement.

First, he still thinks about his now-estranged brother. Secondly, he can now say his name in a public setting. Thirdly, he has dealt with some anxiety for a long time. This is something Prince Harry alluded to in his book Spare and during different interviews.

Some observers are now wondering if the olive branches will take new forms in the near future.

Is this a real olive branch? Should Prince Harry make a public move?
